About BSPS

The Bal Sansar Public School (BSPS) opened its pre-school in April 2013, added primary classes in July 2014 after securing government registration from the state of Rajasthan, and was upgraded through to Class 8 from the 2018–19 academic session. The school now enrols 155+ children — 60% of them girls — from surrounding villages. BSPS keeps fees flexible and subsidised so that no child is turned away for financial reasons.

BSPS provides quality, equitable education from playgroup to Class 8 under private school registration rules of the Government of Rajasthan, with plans for gradual expansion to elementary and senior secondary levels. The curriculum emphasises culturally sensitive, environmentally grounded education and holistic child development through multiple intelligences.

For many students here, BSPS is where a family's first reader and first writer begins.

COVID-19 Resilience

When schools across India shut in 2020, BSPS teachers walked to students' homes, delivered worksheets by hand, and continued lessons over phone calls. Every one of BSPS's 156 students remained enrolled through the lockdown — all were promoted that year, without a single dropout.

Smart Classrooms

Funded through Mitsubishi Elevator India's CSR, BSPS now has 2 smart classrooms equipped with modern interactive teaching technology and seating facilities — enabling digital learning for rural students who would otherwise have no access to such resources.

International Support

BSPS receives recurring international funding through Give Foundation Inc.(Palo Alto, CA, USA) — channelled via FCRA — supporting teacher salaries, school operations, and student essentials. Give Foundation's continued backing is a mark of independent, verified confidence in how BSS runs the school.
