About BSPS

The Bal Sansar Public School (BSPS) is committed to delivering high-quality pre-primary and primary education to rural children within the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. The 2023-24 session enrolled 120 kids (with a ratio of 60:40 girls to boys) from surrounding villages — most from humble backgrounds where 80% of parents are daily wage labourers and only about 50% of families can pay fees.

BSPS provides quality, equitable education from playgroup to grade 8th under private school registration rules of the Government of Rajasthan, with plans for gradual expansion to elementary and senior secondary levels. The curriculum emphasizes culturally sensitive, environmentally friendly quality education and holistic child development through multiple intelligences.

COVID-19 Resilience

During the COVID-19 pandemic, BSPS adapted rapidly — teachers conducted home visits, distributed worksheets, and used phone-based learning to keep students engaged. As a result, 156 students were promoted without any dropouts during the lockdown period.

Smart Classrooms

Through CSR support from Mitsubishi Electric, BSPS now has 2 smart classrooms equipped with modern interactive teaching technology and seating facilities — enabling digital learning for rural students who would otherwise have no access to such resources.
