Give on Children's Day
Children's Day is a good day to give to children. Bal Sansar Sanstha has run its own programmes in Rajasthan since 1992 — a village school in Ajmer district and adolescent health work across thirty Gram Panchayats. A gift today goes to those, and the accounts are published.
You will not find a price per child on this page. BSS has not published a costing it could stand behind, and a figure invented for an appeal is worth less than none. What is published is every programme figure, with the year and the report it came from.
What a gift joins
BSS runs these itself — there is no intermediary between a donation and the work. Both figures below are the ones in the annual report, and each links to the programme's own page.
A village school
Bal Sansar Public School teaches 155+ children in Hathikhera, Ajmer district, from pre-primary to Class 8 — 60% of them girls. Every Class 5 and Class 8 candidate who sat the Rajasthan Board examinations in 2025-26 passed, all in the first division. Fees are kept flexible and subsidised so that no child is turned away.
About the schoolAdolescents, before the decisions get harder
Taiyari has reached 1,800 adolescents directly across 30 Gram Panchayats, with health, life-skills and rights sessions — and more than 20,000 people indirectly through the families and communities around them. Direct and indirect are two different counts and the annual report keeps them apart.
About TaiyariBefore you give
BSS is registered under Section 80G — now Section 133 of the Income-tax Act, 2025. Whether you can claim the deduction depends on your tax regime: it is available under the OLD regime, and the default new regime under Section 115BAC does not allow it. Share your PAN when you give, so the donation can be reported and your certificate generated from that filing.
