About SEDI

The Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI) operated from April 2013 to 2024 in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. The institute aimed to address the skill-building needs of rural women and youth for their overall development, livelihood, and quality survival.

BSS was approved as a registered Training Centre by the Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Ltd. (RKCL) (ITGK Code: 12290170) for running certification courses. Over its 11-year run, 300+ youth completed various courses and received employable certifications.

Programme Conclusion

SEDI concluded operations in 2024 due to a state-wide government policy change requiring a minimum of 50 admissions per cycle. Despite this, SEDI's legacy lives on through the hundreds of rural women and youth it empowered with employable skills and certifications over 11 years.
