4. Donations

Donations made through this website are voluntary contributions to Bal Sansar Sanstha. BSS is registered under Section 80G — now Section 133 of the Income-tax Act, 2025, which replaced the 1961 Act on 1 April 2026 (Registration: AAATB9592L25JP02). Whether a donor can claim the deduction depends on their tax regime: it is available under the old regime, and the default new regime under Section 115BAC does not allow it. Cash donations above ₹2,000 and donations in kind are not eligible under any regime. School fees paid through the fee-payment page are a payment for schooling, not a donation, and carry no 80G eligibility at all. Tax receipts are issued for donations. Refunds for donations are handled on a case-by-case basis; please contact us for any concerns.

5. FCRA Compliance

BSS is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA Registration: 125560132). Foreign contributions are received and utilized in accordance with FCRA regulations.
