A light that stays on after the festival
Diwali is when most of us give. If you are looking for somewhere it will be accounted for, this is what we do with it: a village school in Ajmer district, a health centre that opened this January, and health work with adolescents across thirty Gram Panchayats.
We are not going to tell you what a particular sum buys. We have not published a costing we could stand behind, and inventing one for a festival appeal is the kind of thing that makes people stop trusting charities. What we can tell you is exactly what the money joins, and show you the audited books.

What a gift joins
Donations are not earmarked by default — they go where the need is that month, which is usually salaries, materials and running costs, the things nobody funds and everything depends on. If you want your gift to go to one programme, say so in the donation form and it will.
A village school
Bal Sansar Public School teaches 155+ children in Hathikhera, Ajmer district, from pre-primary to Class 8 — 60% of them girls. Every Class 5 and Class 8 candidate who sat the Rajasthan Board examinations in 2025-26 passed, all in the first division. Fees are kept flexible and subsidised so that no child is turned away.
More about thisA health centre that has just opened
The Aarogyam Kendra opened at Hathikhera in January 2026 — 1,517 sq. ft. built for women, adolescents and children in villages where reaching a health facility has meant travelling for it. Cochin Shipyard's CSR grant paid for the building; running it is ours.
More about thisHealth work that reaches adolescents
Taiyari works with 1,800 adolescents directly, and around 20,000 people indirectly, across 30 Gram Panchayats in Ajmer and Tonk — on health, nutrition, reproductive health and life skills, with girls in rural areas at the centre of it.
More about thisBefore you give to anyone, including us
Diwali is also when the most appeals arrive, and the ones worth giving to can show you the same four things. Ours are on this site and you do not need to ask for them.
- 80G registration, so an Indian taxpayer can claim the deduction. Ours is AAATB9592L25JP02, valid to AY 2031-32, and the certificate is published.
- Audited accounts, in full — not a pie chart. Annual reports and audit reports with Form 10B are on the documents page.
- A receipt that arrives. Ours is emailed automatically after the payment clears, and the donation is recorded for the Form 10BD return filed with the Income Tax Department.
- Figures with a source. Every number on this page is in an annual report you can download, and says which year it is from.
Give this Diwali
UPI, card or net banking. An 80G receipt is emailed to you. If you would rather give every month, the same form does that — it is the kind of giving a school year actually runs on.
