BSS was established in 1992 by Dr. Priyamvada Singh in Jaipur, Rajasthan. For over three decades, we have been working with vulnerable communities, especially children, women and youth.

BSS is registered under Section 80G — now Section 133 of the Income-tax Act, 2025, which replaced the 1961 Act on 1 April 2026 (Registration: AAATB9592L25JP02, valid AY 2027-28 to 2031-32). Whether you can claim it depends on your tax regime: the deduction is available under the OLD regime, and the default new regime under Section 115BAC does not allow it. So, for an Indian taxpayer, a 50% deduction is claimable if you file under the old regime, and if you have not opted out of the default you should check with your tax adviser before counting on it. Either way, share your PAN when you give — we report donations to the Income Tax Department and your certificate is generated from that filing. A receipt is emailed after every donation.

Our headquarters are in Jaipur, Rajasthan with a field office in Ajmer. We actively operate across Jaipur, Ajmer, and Tonk districts with projects like BSPS (Ajmer), the Aarogyam Kendra (Ajmer) and TI-IDU covering 500 IDUs (Ajmer). Taiyari, in Ajmer and Tonk, has concluded.

Funds directly support our programmes: education at BSPS, HIV prevention through TI-IDU, and the Aarogyam Kendra community health centre. BSS publishes audited annual accounts and maintains complete financial transparency.
